5. Product Warranties and Guarantees
5.1 Manufacturer Warranties
Our UV-C air purification products are covered by manufacturer warranties as specified in the product documentation. Warranty periods and terms vary by product model and are detailed in the warranty documentation provided with each unit.
UV-C Lamps: Signify UV-C lamps are warranted for an average lifetime of 9,000 hours under normal operating conditions.
Equipment: Standard warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship for a period specified in the product documentation (typically 12-24 months from date of installation).
Extended Warranties: Extended warranty options may be available for certain products. Please enquire for details.
5.2 Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, unauthorised modifications, improper installation, failure to follow operating instructions, or normal wear and tear. Warranties are void if the product has been serviced or repaired by unauthorised personnel.
5.3 Performance Claims
Performance data regarding pathogen deactivation rates (e.g., 99.9% effectiveness against viruses, bacteria, mould, and pollen) is based on independent laboratory testing conducted under controlled conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on environmental factors, room size, air circulation, pathogen type, and operating settings. We make no guarantee that our products will prevent illness or eliminate all pathogens in real-world conditions.
6. Installation and Maintenance
6.1 Installation
Professional installation is recommended for all wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted units. Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable electrical safety regulations. We provide installation planning assistance, room layout guidance, and can recommend qualified installers; please enquire for details.
Portable units are designed for plug-and-play operation but must be used in accordance with the operating manual. Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate electrical supply and appropriate placement of units.
6.2 Maintenance Requirements
Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance and safety. UV-C lamps must be replaced at the end of their rated lifetime (typically 9,000 hours). Customers are responsible for tracking operating hours and arranging timely lamp replacement. We can provide maintenance services and replacement lamps; please contact us for details.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 General Limitations
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
Subject to the above, we shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity arising from your use of our website or products.
7.2 Product Liability
Our UV-C air purification products are designed to reduce airborne pathogens and improve indoor air quality. However, they are not medical devices and should not be relied upon as the sole means of infection control or disease prevention.
We make no warranty that use of our products will prevent illness, eliminate all pathogens, or guarantee any specific health outcome. Our products should be used as part of a comprehensive approach to indoor air quality and infection control, in conjunction with other appropriate measures such as ventilation, cleaning, and hygiene protocols.
7.3 Maximum Liability
Subject to the limitations set out above, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our website or products, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be limited to the total amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

If such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
